Two projects have been selected and will be funded for a two-year period.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The selected projects address clinical issues addressed by the CHUGA and involve the Clinatec\u00ae biological, medical device and clinical platforms:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Brain-computer interface based on electro-corticography for upper limb recovery after stroke, a project led by <strong>Professor Olivier Detante (UGA and CHUGA) and Guillaume Charvet (CEA)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Light for heart attacks: does photobiomodulation help post-myocardial infarction recovery? Project led by <strong>Professors Gilles Barone-Rochette (UGA and CHUGA) and John Mitrofanis (Fonds Clinatec)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The projects are scheduled to start on February 1, 2024, and run for two years. They will be financed by the four partners to the tune of \u20ac100,000 each.<\/p>\n<p>The expected results of these two projects are new medical devices providing a therapeutic solution to a pathology, in the first project by adding an existing means of physical action to a new pathology (stroke), and in the second project by adding a new means of physical action (photobiomodulation) to a cardiac pathology.<\/p>\n<p>Initiated from Grenoble&#8217;s biomedical research center, these projects could then, if necessary, give rise to partnerships on a wider scale.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Clinatec\u00ae brings together nearly a hundred experts, and is unique in that it combines technological and biological exploration platforms with a clinical sector where cutting-edge technological devices are developed and tested. The biomedical center accelerates the industrial transfer of innovative medical devices, so that they can be made available to patients as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Clinatec\u00ae<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Clinatec\u00ae, the Edmond J.
