This approach, known as photobiomodulation, aims to offer a new therapeutic option for patients who do not respond well to traditional drug treatments. This innovative technique represents a significant advance in the treatment of Parkinson&#8217;s disease, offering hope to patients. Patrons of the Fonds Clinatec have supported this project from the outset, in particular to establish preclinical proof of neuroprotection by light.<\/p>\n<p>The article also mentions pathologies for which transcranial photobiomodulation (i.e. photomodulation that passes through the skull, from the outside) could be a solution, and on which the Fonds Clinatec has launched new research projects: Alzheimer&#8217;s disease, sleep disorders and cranial trauma.
